Installation Coordination and Support – Install starts at day one
Our nationwide distribution channels allow us the opportunity to meet with architects, design teams and/or contractors whom have never designed, specified or installed European windows or doors before. In light of this, one of the primary benefits of Hawkeye’s participation at the launch of your project is that we are able to utilize our expertise to ensure your product selection, options of choice and installation plan is properly coordinated and successful.
We have a full set of cut sheets to reference for conceptual design ideas at the inception of your project and detailed CAD drawings available during design development. We may also provide a service to complete the installation interface details for the final construction documents. Our interface drawings can save valuable time in the construction design schedule and offers the design team and the installing contractor a reassuring peace of mind for the proper installation of the selected windows, doors, rolling shutters or wood-clad curtain wall products. The construction documents with our CAD drawings and interface details will have all the specifics, details, dimensions, set-backs, flashing details, insulation requirement and wall interface notes necessary for a superior installation of your European window system.
On-site installation coordination
At Hawkeye Windows and Doors we are also always willing to accommodate those clients who request on-site installation coordination. Therefore, we can budget and commit to being on site as needed for as many days that are required to ensure a quality installation is completed in a safe and professional manner. Our onsite installation coordination is often requested when orders include, large lifting or folding doors, rolling security shutters, sill pan flashings, insulation tapes or other complicated fenestration accessories. We will work with your installing contractor for the proper steps and techniques so that all options work as a complete and seamless system.
